Planning a Fourth of July Celebration

  |     |   Apartment Tips

The 4th of July is one of the easiest days of the year to throw a themed celebration.

Adorn your apartment, common room or outdoor area with patriotic, red, white and blue decor.

The menu couldn't be any simpler! Even if you're dining indoors, simple grilled selections and picnic fare are appropriate for the occasion. Potato salad, sliced watermelon and your basic burger can replace the more expensive choices you might typically serve guests.

Desserts are not only a crowd favorite, but also easy to complement your theme! Iced cupcakes in the colors of the flag or sundaes with fresh strawberry and blueberry toppings make great Independence Day desserts!

Once your guests tummies are happy, make plans to go to the local fireworks display as a group in addition to making a festive end with a bang!

The City of Kings Mountain pulls out all the stops for its epic fireworks display at the Revolutionary Fourth celebration! Festivities are complete with a live band, food vendors, and a scene performed from “Liberty Mountain – The Revolutionary Drama about the Battle of Kings Mountain,” written by Bob Inman.

We hope you all enjoy the Fourth this year!
